I have this sudden urge to practice for a special anniversary bento. Here goes: red bean paste bread (red bean paste from daiso), fragrance pear, hawthorn slices, chocolates, and matcha wafers under the bread.

This is my fifth halloween bento this year. It's really fun to create bentos for special occassion!

The pumpkin and witch hat is bread with orange marmalade. Condiments include oat meal biscuits, chocolate, grapes and tomatoes.

With the recent hurricane Sandy that's creating chaos in the US, we have the hottest and most humid weather in SG!! Both of us are feeling the effects of the heat! To tune down the amount of heat that we are feeling in us, I decided to do a simple bento with fragrant pears.

Happy Bento B69 and B70 24/10/12

I am seriously in such a happy mood that I did a duckie couple bento hiak hiak. The thought of playing the whole day tomorrow does make me feel excited and at the same time nervous keke.

For bento B69,
duckie is chicken burger with lettuce and cheese. duckie is cheese with carrot.
condiments include strawberries and precious gem biscuits.

For bento B70
duckie is also chicken burger with lettuce and cheese. Duckie is cheese with carrot.
Condiments include tomatoes and grapes.

I wouldn't be doing bento for the next two days. Will be back next week, enjoy your long weekend everyone :)

I finally recieved my long awaited e-mook as recommended by some of the fellow bento makers in ez bento! I was so excited that I even forget to feel tired despite a crazy day!

I browse through the emook and love it sooooo much hahahaha :)) I chances upon a sanrio character which I feel will be an appropriate for halloween version :) There you go, fourth halloween bento!! The bento pic as attached hee hee.

For this bento, there's fish burger (I&J fish fillets are yummy), sausage hearts, grapes, apple slices and halloween chocolate as a treat.

It's Monday again. Yawns.. weekends always fly by in the wink of an eye. How I wish that weekends can fly by slower:(

Today's bento is a fruitful one, yummy :) Yes, went shopping and happily stock up my compartments in the fridge.

I woke up late today and thus the very simple bento. Yawn. My mind wasn't doing me any justice, ended up with a slightly burnt burger patty.

Fish burger, guava, fragrant pear and oat crackers for him.

Oh well, I need my bed. zzzz

My hubbie told me he didn't finish much of his bento as he was really busy and forgot to eat! :(( But I think he took them as supper as I don see any leftovers!

Interestingly, my brain juice is functioning! I managed to come up with the third halloween bento for hubbie today - trick or treats!

-Pumpkins are cheddar cheese/mozzarella cheese sandwiches,
-sausage bonbons
-corn cup
-guava slice

Hopefully, he gets to finish them today.

This is my second halloween bento for this month:)) I used blackberry jam to fill in the eyes and mouths of the ghosts. I used it for the words too! It's been fun doing these specialty bentos :)) Most importantly, my hubbie loves them:)

This month is halloween month. I wanted to do halloween bentos but didn't have much idea as brain juice malfunction :( luckily, I came across a pic online and decided to use that and brainstorm for idea for halloween bento. Unfortunately I did not have any hat picks and couldn't find suitable stickers to do my very own hat pick, hence I decided to forgo the hat part.

Happy Bento B62 09/10/12

I was too tired and almost couldnt wake up in time to do bento. Since i haven't plan for anything, I decided to use my new picks and do a duck family outing theme. The duck family was out for a swim and picnic at a new pond that they discovered. The ducklings were told not to go down into the pool yet. Suddenly, the ducklings slipped and fell into the pond! Papa, Mama and uncle duck are trying to swim over and rescue the baby ducklings who fell into the pond by chance! Lets hope that the ducklings will learn to swim soon.

Bento consist of corn cup, honeyed chicken char Siew bao (the BIG KID's favorite) and some grapes.

Something to chase the Monday blues away- Domokun is scared of ladybugs! :p

My BIG KID (hubbie) wanted to have fruit cake for a change, hence I decided to do Domokun! wahaha. I didn actually plan for the decoration part, I just let it go with the flow and hey presto!

Happy Bento B60 4/10/12

After three days of burger only breakfast for him as he was tooooo busy to eat a proper bento, I'm back again! *grin* This time I decided to do a little hamtaro bento, something that has been in my to-do list for a while.

hamtaro is wearing bangs today, for a change.. Tee hee. hamtaro is actually chicken burger with mozzarella cheese slice. For a healthier brekkie, I put in apple hearts(halves) and edamame beans :)))

Oh, the BIG KID (my hubbie) was actually grinning from ear to ear when he saw me doing it!! that makes my day to see him happy and excited with the bento :))

The BIG kid (my hubbie) says he couldn't finish his dinosaur bento yesterday as he is wayyy too busy. He requested for simple super duper simple-burger. So here goes: the left is the burger, middle is the whale foil for wrapping and lastly the colored tape that I used to complete the packed burger.
