Happy Bento B90 19/12/12 a duckie xmas

Today's idea is an impromptu one as I was too tired to plan one.. Yawn.

Since I'm doing sandwiches (again, yes) I decided to cut them into triangles and as I was stacking up, they fell like dominoes! Oh no! But hey, I saw something- I could use them to make a Christmas tree! That excites me! I rushed to my veg
compartment and ran through to see what I can use to decorate my tree! Hence I ended up using lettuce strips, cucumber slices, cherry tomatoes to represent the star! I use duckie picks to decorate the tree! As for Santa's body, it's a pear! Haha my hubbie came and took a peek when I was doing up his bento, out of curiosity I asked him if he can make out what's in his bento? He instantly told me its s Christmas tree! Hohoho I've succeeded! do note that there are pressies (biscuit squares) under the Christmas tree.

It's exactly a week to Christmas, one of my favorite season:) I had some bake cinnamon ginger cookies and cranberry peppermint cookies from a dear friend as Christmas gift!! I told BIG KID (aka my hubbie) that I'll packed some for his bento, imagine him grinning from eat to eat kekeke :)

Since these cookies are squared shaped, it decided to use them as "cushions" in my bento for the puppies :) The puppies are mini sammies filled with four berries jam. The wreath is made up of Korean honeyed mandarin with jeweled picks.

Happy Bento B87 14/12/12 winter wonderland

it's been raining almost everyday for the month of Dec. The worst being yesterday which was rainy from noon till night! though there's no winter in Singapore, but it's can be cold whenever there's heavy rain. This gives me an idea for my bento!

Snowman- honeyed char Siew bao with kamaboko pink buttons and scarf
cucumber salad with fir trees, balsamic sauce in a fish bottle and pine nuts.
Persimmons, mini cocktail sausages and multivitamins (hidden under the snowman's head).

it's mid week, hurray! I wanted my bento to be a happy one but I was too tired to plan a theme, hence an impromptu bento :)

Happy Bento B85 11/12/12 Rise and Shine!

BIG KID aka my hubbie, can't seem to wake up no matter how many times I had tried to wake him up for work. Nope, not sick or anything, probably worn out. Thus I decided to make him a rise and shine bento.

raisin bread on top layer.
Bottom layer comprises of guava, Sakura tomatoes, oat cracker and multivitamin.

Happy Bento B84 10/12/12 Simple Marine bento

My hubbie told me he just want a simple bento with the simplest deco. Searching through my picks, I came across my rescue pick (with compliments from Bentoberries :) ) and decided on a very simple marine bento.

The bento comprises of sliced fragrant pears, persimmon Farris wheel, multivitamins and raisins bread:)

It's gonna be a busy day so gonna take a bit of slp before I'm up for the day:)

I'm back after a short break. Hubbie got a new job and started recently, hence I decided to create cute and healthy bentos for him again.
