Happy Bento B36 29/8/12

Today's inspiration after two days of rest, is from cookie monster. I love to see him gobble up his cookies haha!

With that idea, I can up with my sandwich monsters- one with blue eyes and one with yellow eyes. the sandwich is filled with fish finger, lettuce, cheese and chopped tomatoes.

Condiments include choco biscuit(under the corn kernels), corn kernels, homemade tartar sauce( under multivitamin box), multivitamins, precious jewels biscuit and hawthorns slices. :)

As the weather is quite cold these days due to frequent rains, hence I made some ginger tea for my hubbie.

Homemade ginger tea
1) slices of ginger
2) honey chrysanthemum rock sugar
3) a few drops of lime

Procedures
1) buy old ginger from wet market or supermarket. peel off the skin and wash thoroughly. crush the ginger a bit and slice it. (thickness based on personal preference).

2) fill a pot with water ( any amount that you like, I recommend 2litres ) and bring it to boil.

3) once boiled, add in the sliced ginger. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes.

4) after 10 minutes, place some honey chrysanthemum rock sugar into the tea. Let it simmer for another 5 minutes before you off the fire.

5) serve with a few drops of lime.

Home-made tartar sauce

Ingredients
